During this difficult time our priority is the safety, health and well-being of our employees and clients.

Therefore, we will not be able to conduct face-to-face appointments for the coming tax season.

We are, however, prepared to serve you virtually, using the following methods:

• For our business clients-we maintain a secure client portal through our website. This portal allows clients to upload business documents and QuickBooks files. We are also able to upload documents on our end for client review. • For our individual clients- we offer a secure client portal through our Lacerte tax software at Intuit Link. Clients can sign our engagement letter, answer our questionnaire, upload documents and communicate with the preparer. This portal does not allow for larger files such as QuickBooks. If you’d like to be set up on this portal, please call or email Krysten at our office at 607-797-4339 or kkenfield@mfcpas.com.
• Video conferencing using Microsoft Teams and Zoom. To use these, clients would need to have the program set up on their end before the meeting can take place.

If technology to utilize the above is not available to you, we do have a drop box outside of our building for clients to leave documents in. The box is locked and checked daily. We encourage clients to call the office to let us know they have left information. Again, our phone number is 607-797-4339.

Once your return is complete, we are now capable of forwarding a draft of the return for your review and electronic signature. Please be sure we have your current email address information. Instructions for this process will be provided at that time.

For your convenience, we have added the option to pay your invoice for our services through our website. Please visit www.mfcpas.com. The ‘Pay Invoice’ button is on the home page. If there are any questions on this, please call our office and ask for Krysten for help.
